Keeping your new Hyundai running at its best requires regular care and maintenance. We encourage new owners to stay on top of it with Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance. It's basic maintenance your new vehicle needs, and it's on us. Benefits include:

  • Engine oil and filter changes
  • Tire Rotation
  • Normal, factory-scheduled maintenance for 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first)
  • Hyundai filters & non-synthetic Quaker State oil
  • Supplemented or extended Hyundai Protection Plans

TERMS OF PROGRAM*

  • Complimentary beginning on all new 2020 Hyundai vehicles sold on or after 2/1/2020.
  • Covers Normal usage schedule intervals only. See the Owner's Manual for each vehicle model for full details.
  • 3 years / 36,000 miles of coverage, whichever comes first. 
  • Each service must be obtained within 1,000 miles of its designated mileage or within one month of the designated time listed in the vehicle Owner's Manual. The customer's failure to redeem services prior to the expiration of the designated term or mileage will not void any future services. 
  • Commercial and fleet vehicles are excluded, but vehicles for business use (e.g. realtor or outside sales) are allowed. 
  • Non-transferable: available to original owner/first retail customer only.
  • Only covers basic services, oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection (except electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles) listed in the vehicle Owner's Manual at the time specified. Synthetic Oil is excluded.
  • Does not cover services or repairs listed as 'Inspect' found in the Owner's Manual, even when revealed by inspections that the items need to be replaced or Synthetic Oil.
  • Dealer will use Hyundai OEM Filters and non-synthetic Quaker State Oil as recommended in the vehicle Owner's Manual.

How many complimentary services do I get?

Where do I get my car serviced?
At any authorized Hyundai dealership.

Why do I have to go to a Hyundai dealership for service?
Only authorized Hyundai dealerships are certified to complete Hyundai Complimentary maintenance services on your Hyundai vehicles.

How much would it cost?
There is no charge for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, for the Normal maintenance scheduled intervals listed in the vehicle Owner's Manual.  These services will only include oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspections.

How often can I get it serviced? 
Refer to the Normal maintenance scheduled intervals listed in your vehicle Owner's Manual.

When is my next service date and when does it expire?
Each service must be completed within ±1,000 miles of its designated mileage or within ±1 month of the designated time. Refer to the Normal maintenance scheduled intervals listed in your vehicle Owner's Manual.  

What services do I get with HCM?
Service only includes oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection.

Why can't I get an air filter change with HCM?
HCM only includes oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. Your local Hyundai dealer has available pre-paid maintenance programs for purchase to cover severe operating conditions, full maintenance and wear, and additional time/mileage beyond HCM coverage.

Can I cancel HCM?
No, HCM is complimentary and cannot be cancelled.

How do I get money back after my vehicle gets serviced elsewhere?
You will not receive reimbursements for services completed at a non-Hyundai dealership.

If my Hyundai dealer won't perform complimentary maintenance, what can I do?

The dealership told me I had full maintenance, why isn't everything covered? 
HCM only includes oil changes, oil filters, tire rotation and multi-point inspection.

When I set up my account on the MyHyundai App, I see that some of my driving conditions indicate I must follow the Maintenance under severe usage conditions. Can I schedule services based on that recommended service interval?
Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance is based on normal service intervals and can only be redeemed during those service windows. If you would like services that would align with the service schedule for sever drivers, you can purchase a separate service package that would accommodate those needs. Otherwise, you would have to pay for maintenance services that fall outside of Hyundai complimentary Maintenance coverage.

Can I buy additional services after my vehicle's Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance (3 years / 36,000 miles) is over?
Yes! there are additional packages that are sold through Round Rock Hyundai's Finance department that can meet your service needs. If you would like some additional information and a quote, contact Round Rock Hyundai's Finance department at 512-904-6400.
